With the beginning of the new school year, Tudor Personal Tailor supported the first charity event organized by Teach for Romania in London to create life opportunities through quality education for the Romanian children.
Teach for Romania Charity Ball took place on Friday, 18th of September 2015, at East Wintergarden, Canary Wharf, London, and was intended as an occasion to reunite the supporters of Teach for Romania’s clause.
Sir George Iacobescu, CEO and Chairman of Canary Wharf Group, member of the Board of Trustees of the British Museum and co-founder of Teach First attended the event as a special guest.

John Soleanicov, co-founder of Teach for Romania believes that ‘education is an area that should be prioritized in Romania in terms of resources allocated to transformation. A modern and efficient education system requires motivated teachers and transformational leaders. Teach for Romania wants to contribute to identifying, training and supporting the future teachers and education leaders in Romania and wants to thank our supporters, with the help of which we are convinced that the transformation of the education system is not only possible, but inevitable.’

Those who wanted to invest in the future of education of Romanian children had the chance to win the big prize, a gift card offered by Tudor Personal Tailor. The lucky winner would receive a made to measure suit, custom-made and customized according to his wishes.
Teach for Romania is a non-governmental organization founded in 2013 with national impact in the current education system. The program is currently implemented in over 35 countries, as well as Romania, that are part of the international network of Teach for All. Teach for Romania aims to provide life opportunities through quality education for every child from Romania. To achieve this goal, young promising Romanians are recruited to be trained as model schoolteachers or teachers and later supported to become factors of transformation in education.
